Mission: Beverage Study App

Beverage Study App (bevstudy.app) is a Progressive Web App (PWA) designed for WSET students of the Wine Education Institute and the general public. We serve as a digital Systematic Approach to Tasting (SAT) assistant, empowering tasters to evaluate and record notes with professional precision while also providing enhanced quizzes, flashcards and Level 3 short answer practice in both wine and spirits.

Strategic Objectives

• Integrity: We strictly enforce WSET SAT terminology for Wine, Beer, and Spirits.
• Automation: Utilize cutting-edge vision APIs for automated label and producer recognition, bringing immediate context to your glass.
• Evaluation: Our Evaluator Agent provides formative feedback on student notes and short answer questions developed directly from our WSET educators, tailored to your current education level. We also provide spaces for value, quality, and public tasting reviews.
• Community: Aggregate anonymized tasting data to build a comprehensive global database of varietals, regions, and styles from WSET educated students and educators.

Regulatory Compliance

We prioritize WSET terminology and validate all regional inputs against global hierarchies to maintain an accurate professional standard.
